Three years after the horrors at the Alpine wellness center, Lockhart (Dane DeHaan) vanishes without a trace. Rumors swirl that he’s been taken to a new facility — larger, more advanced, and far deadlier — hidden deep within a remote North Atlantic archipelago.
Following a string of disappearances involving powerful figures, the government sends in Ethan Cross (Jason Statham) – an elite undercover operative – and Dr. Marcus Hale (Dwayne Johnson) – a former combat medic and psychological warfare expert – posing as patients to infiltrate the facility.
Inside, they uncover The Serenity Institute, which isn’t just treating patients… it’s experimenting with a “new cure” that fuses deep-sea parasites with human biology, creating hyper-intelligent hybrids stripped of free will.
When Lockhart is found in a semi-conscious state, the trio must race to destroy the Institute before its “global treatment” is deployed. But the deeper they go, the more they realize the mastermind is someone Lockhart believed had died in the Alps.
