Years after their unforgettable victory that turned three misfits into local legends, Gus (Rob Schneider), Richie (David Spade), and Clark (Jon Heder) have gone their separate ways — sort of. Gus now coaches a struggling youth team in a small town; Richie has somehow turned into a cynical baseball podcaster who’s never played a game since; and Clark, still terrified of the sun and social interaction, is living in his mom’s basement running fantasy leagues for fun.
But when a greedy developer threatens to demolish their childhood ballpark to build luxury condos, the trio reunites for one last game — a charity tournament to save their field. The only problem? Their opponents are faster, younger, and way more coordinated. To win, they’ll have to recruit a ragtag lineup of misfits, outcasts, and washed-up has-beens who make their original team look like pros.
