👉 Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, Alison Brie
New scam. Same sentence. Get Hard 2 reunites Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart for another no-holds-barred comedy of survival, stupidity, and second chances — this time, the tables have hilariously turned.
Years after surviving his prison scare and rebuilding his reputation, James King (Will Ferrell) is now a self-proclaimed “reformed man” — running motivational seminars about toughness and redemption. But when his sketchy new business deal backfires, he’s once again facing hard time. Desperate not to repeat history, he turns to his old “coach,” Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart), now a successful entrepreneur with zero patience for James’s nonsense.
Only this time, Darnell’s the one in trouble — framed for a crime he didn’t commit and facing real prison time. To return the favor, James decides to “train” Darnell for life behind bars… with predictably disastrous results. From etiquette classes for gang diplomacy to painfully misguided “alpha male” exercises, their plan spirals into absurd chaos. And when they both land in an undercover sting gone wrong, the duo must outwit real criminals, corrupt CEOs, and their own incompetence to survive.
Alison Brie joins the madness as a sharp, ambitious FBI agent who’s equal parts ally and obstacle, while Ferrell and Hart’s chemistry hits new comedic highs — bouncing between clueless privilege and manic overconfidence.
Directed by Etan Cohen, Get Hard 2 ups the ante with even raunchier gags, sharper satire, and a surprising streak of heart. Beneath the outrageous antics lies a story about loyalty, redemption, and two men who keep failing upward — together.
Because in this prison of life, the only way out… is to get harder.
